Home Base ROM?? Well that's Rafter's brother/littermate, who now lives overseas.
Rafter has it in his genes to be just as good producer as his sire and brother.

He's not as well known, true, but he's still here and ready and willing to try
to work up to his genes! Rafter's mother is the dam of 4 champions, with one
more close to finishing.

After a break from the show ring, Rafter has returned and is
having a blast showing in Veterans!!

6/1/08 St. Lawrence Valley Dog Club Show, under judge Lester Mapes
"Rafter" was Best Veteran in Breed. He went on to win a Veteran Group
2nd!!

"Rafter" has only been shown once in UKC, that was on August 26th, 2007.
He won his class, then was Winners Male, Best of Winner, Best of Breed
and a Group 4th!! We look forward to finding some more shows for him
so he can become a UKC champion too!

11/17, 11/18, & 11/19/06- - At the Ottawa Kennel Club Shows,
held in Kemptville, ON. "Rafter" was WD & BOW all three days
to finish his CAN CH. in just 3 ring appearances! Friday's judge
was Mrs. Ann Ingram, Saturday's judge was Mrs. Terry Carter,
and Sunday's judge was Mr. John Reeve-Newson. "Rafter"
was shown by Diane Biggar of Kendale Collies & Shelties.

10/8/06 - - "Rafter" decided he needed a new photo shoot.
So the above and below pictures were some that I liked.
These are Rafter at 6 years old.

9/3/06 - - At the Tonawanda Valley KC show Rafter was moved
up to a special and was awarded BOB under judge Mrs. Murrel Purkhiser.
He was handled again by Sheila.

Rafter and myself, Jennifer, headed into the big group ring and
was awarded a GROUP 4th!!!! This was Rafter's and my first group
placement!! See picture below

Updated 9/2/06 - - Our dream and goal for this super fun loving boy
came true today. At the Tonawanda Valley Kennel Club Show in
Albion NY "Rafter" was WD and BOS for his 3rd Major to finish
his Championship under judge Mrs. Murrel Purkhiser!! I cannot thank
Sheila Monks and Charlene Jones enough for the wonderful care they have
given my boy.

A huge thanks to Rafter's breeders Valerie Daniels & Bonnie
Smith for trusting me with this beautiful once in a lifetime dog!

Thanks to all of our friends, you know who you are, if it wasn't for
your friendships and guidance though out the past 10 years this may
have never happened for us.

"Rafter" wins back to back RWD's on 4/22/06 and 4/23/06
under judges Joy Brewster & Zell Von Pohlman. Owner/Handled

Rafter 2/4/06

"Rafter" pictured in the above pictures on 2/4/06
at 5 1/2 years of age. He is just starting to coat
up and will be out in the ring this spring.

We are very excited to welcome this stunning boy here!
A huge thank you to Rafters breeders Valerie Daniels
(Dan Dee), & Bonnie Smith (Tara Hill) for letting this
boy come to stay forever.

"Rafter" is co-owned by Valerie Daniels.

"Rafter" has a beautiful correct head piece from all angles, full
detention, Good bone, lots of neck, great body, moves great,
and has a great personality!

Rafter went to the Saratoga NY Shows, 2/3, 2/4, & 2/5/06.
On Friday & Saturday he was 2nd in the American Bred Class
out of 5 entries. Then on Sunday Rafter won the Am. Bred Class
and was looked at in the Winners line up. He is showing beautifully
for Jennifer and we have high hopes for this Spring and Summer!
